When granting admin rights to a group, members of that group cannot modify service specific security.

For example in layer.properties :

Workspace.*.a = Group

When clicking the “WMS” or “WFS” link in the “Edit Workspace” page, the user receives :

Access denied
The current user does not have sufficient privileges to access the page or perform the requested operation
