I have originally asked this question here: https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/336977/artefacts-gaps-in-tiles-from-geoserver and was advised to file a report. The problems involves GeoTiff EPSG 4326 raster data that I let GeoServer reproject through WMS requests into an Arctic Stereographic map (EPSG 3413) from a LEaflet application. When zooming in, tiles that have one corner on the antimeridian show missing data. Note that projections in Web Mercator (EPSG 5857) are fine, so the data is there in the GeoTiff file. The WMS “Enable Advanced Projection handling” is ticked, but when unticked, additional triangular artefacts appear (no surprise there, I guess). Some images to illustrate the problem: An example GeoTiff file can be found here: The applied style can be found here, but the problem also occurs with the default GeoServer raster style applied. Thank you for looking into this |
