If you have multiple pages in CSW, each page will load the entire catalog and apply post-filtering for paging. This defeats the purpose of paging with large catalogues. Geonetwork harvester uses paging, and it will take many hours to harvest a large catalog. Prefiltering instead of postfiltering can solve this problem. Special attention needs to go to the combination of layergroups and layers in combination with filters and paging. |
