The tomcat instance will not start if you include the ‘-XX:+UseStringDeduplicationJVM’ startup parameter (it is not valid for this java release). This option is recommended in the setup docs at https://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/production/container.html The documentation should likely be updated to reflect that it is only usable on earlier Java versions . |
