Hey all, I just wanted to let you know that I just changed the behavior of
jira to (hopefully) update the geoserver-commits@lists.sourceforge.net
list whenever there is any sort of update to any issue. The opening of
issues will still go to the devel list. And you can still watch an issue
from there to be notified of any changes. The thought behind this is that
the commits list is for hardcore monitoring of the project, and it will
now make it so no updates or comments are accidentally lost. I sometimes
forget to check issues, since I assume I am watching all being reporter or
assignee. But that is not always true. If people don't like the commits
list being abused in such a way we can roll it back.
