[Geoserver-devel] Lost tags after switch to github?

Hi,
this morning I wanted to do a quick check of the differences between
GeoServer 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 on Github, hoping to find some quick way to do so,
but found out instead that apparently we are missing quite a bit of tags instead:
https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/tags
https://github.com/geotools/geotools/tags

Whoops?

Cheers
Andrea

Right. Well basically we lost all tags that were created before revision 16051. The tags that occurred after that need to be turned into git tags manually, but still should be available as branches if the repo is still linked to svn. I just created some of the tags we were missing:

2.1.4
2.2-beta1
2.2-beta2

You can pull then down in to your local repo by doing this:

git fetch --tags

I will do the same for the geotools repo shortly.
