[Geoserver-devel] Mass shapefile import wizard community module

Hi,
I would like to commit in community land a
simple wizard to mass import all shapefiles
available in a user specified directory.
The system will make a best effort to fill
in all parameters in one shot, and will allow
for manual modification for the layers that
failed to import.

Ok to go?
Cheers
Andrea

Cool, sounds good. Nice to see our pluggable ui architecture being put to use with a nice wizard. +1

I've just commited it, build with -Pweb2,importer
and you should get an Import link in the left menu bar
(temporary position until I find a better one)

Mind, the thing is still quite rough, misses a progress
page so you'll have to wait a while during the import.

But it somewhat works already
Cheers
