[Geoserver-devel] MassGIS announces the release of its Request for Responses (RFR) for Web Mapping Service Enhancements

MassGIS announces the release of its Request for Responses (RFR) for Web
Mapping Service Enhancements. Through this RFR MassGIS is seeking an
organization or company to provide professional programming assistance on an
hourly basis to accomplish specified tasks related to serving digital maps
and data using Open Geospatial Consortium standards. Instructions for
finding the RFR and related documents are as follows:

1. Go to www.comm-pass.com
2. Mid-way down the page, select “Search for solicitations”
3. Part-way down the solicitations page, in the Document Number search
field, enter ENV_GIS_200901
4. Click on Search button
5. The screen will refresh with a link towards the top:” There are 1
Solicitations found that match your search criteria”. Click on that link.
6. On the next page you will see the search result listed. On the
extreme right is a an “eye glasses“ icon. Click on that icon.
7. You are now at the solicitation summary page. Note the blue tabs at
the top of the summary.
8. The RFR document can be downloaded from the “Solicitations” tab.
9. Similarly, the forms required as part of responding to the RFR can
be found under the “Forms & Terms” tab

Note that questions and answers concerning the RFR received from prospective
respondents will be posted back to this Comm-PASS site by 4:00 on Tuesday
August 26. Hard copy responses are due by 4:00 on Friday, August 29, 2008.
