Hi All
Sorry I missed both Geoserver meetings. Just read the logs for both meetings and have summarised part 2 for those who are interested:
-
Review of topics for part 1 (morning session).
-
More communication by taking part in IRC meetings with the right people.
-
The idea of a “critical feature”. (This point was unclear).
-
Making Geoserver more stable
- attracting more developers so that there is more help to report and fix bugs
- the need for more people to contribute.
- J2EE team player
- using JMX for configuration
- New Framework
- support more modular development
- the implementation of Spring for modular development
- start defining the major components of the geoserver system better in terms of fomal apis
- FROG SOAP WSDL and BPL
- Speeding up FM Branch
- Justin (Can work full-time as well as over-time)
- Jody: (Can only work over-time)
- Gabriel: (Volenteer Time)
Kind Regards
Oliver Loe
Thanks Oliver!
