[Geoserver-devel] Meeting time and DST

Hi all,
I've just realized, by getting online late for the geotools
meeting, that DST change made me impossible to participate
at the Geoserver meeting too.... would it be possible to
move it one hour later?

Cheers
Andrea

Geoserver meetings remain an issue - maybe we can fix things with the new time zones?

The first meeting was very variable attended and the time shifted (in the opposite direction to the discussed change!) and they seem to have petered out completely.

Lets stick to one, properly attended meeting, and if it is totally unworkable time for me I'll deal by email. At least I wont waste a lot of time trying to find of meetings are on, were on, and trying to reconcile different discussions.

I also thin we need to formally push GSIPs into a voting process. I have been reviewing them, but have rarely been able to pick the point at which they move from an idea being developed into a serious propodal that needs a vote within a timeframe. I suggest designating a chair to perform this function, or a voting during online meeting to release GSIPs for votes.

Lets take this time to maybe re-arrange the meeting times.
Here is a helpful timezone page:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meetingtime.html?month=10&day=31&year=2006&p1=256&p2=179&p3=215&p4=240

At a quick glance, it looks like UTC 20:00 is about the most reasonable time.
