Sounds like a first good step.
I know there are some votes to make it go core right away, and I'm not
against it at all, but since we lack a formal PSC vote I guess extension
is good, it's the natural path towards core and we'll start to
get some feedback from users.
We can make it core in 2.0.1 or something. But hey, people, if you
want to see this as core right away speak up!
