Hi,
the Inpire module has been languishing in unsupported land for quite a while,
are there issues with us moving it in supported land instead?
If it needs a maintainer I can be the one
Eventually I would like to see the module to be core, with flags to enable the
inspire integration, but that would be something for the future, one step at a time
Cheers
Andrea

No objection here. How does it measure up in terms of the other requirements for extensions?

It needs tests, has none. That’s easily fixed though.
As for interest, I’d say there is plenty, and maintainer wise I can be the one if nobody else
steps up
Cheers

I can confirm that there is interest. Most institutions are looking for something working out of the box. AFAIK, geonetwork has integrated inspire support.

+1 on interest. Metadata is an issue for everyone but its also
yawn-inducing and hard to get support for. The Inspire initiative seems
to be having the useful side effect of providing tools that everyone can
use and thus reducing the pain. We have made the decision to "go with
the flow" and use Inspire profiles. Migration from ANZLIC/ISO is
relatively painless.
