[Geoserver-devel] mvn site not working

Hi,

this message is primarily for Andrea I guess, since he setted up the reporting
plugin in pom.xml.

I was trying to get a geoserver site generated by maven, after a couple
failures and retries doing "mvn site -U" I got it running. Failures seemed to
have to be with ibiblio reliability.
After mvn site finished, the generated page in target/site/index.html contains
hyperlinks to the different modules pages, but they don't seem to be
generated (i.e. target/site/wms/index.html pointed by the "Web Map Service
Module" link doesn't exists)

Do you know if I am doing something wrong or is it just missconfigured or
something?

cheers,

btw, the docs are generated in each module's target/site, just not aggregated
on the main project's target directory, so I guess it is alright and one have
to copy them if need to publish the aggregated docs?

No, I don't think so. The only way I've found to get a site generated with
proper links is to deploy it on a local folder... otherwise I get the
same result as you.

Reporting is mainly a copy of gt2 with some small modifications, and the
problem is there in gt2 as well.

I just never invested more time trying to understand or fix it.
Cheers
Andrea

thanks for the reply
