[Geoserver-devel] New Windows installer for 2.0.1 please?

All my work for the new Windows installer appears to not have made it into the 2.0.1 exe. <snif>

Do I have permission to build it and replace what is posted there?

Yeah! I made one of your new installers for mark. He must of followed some older instructions or something. Or perhaps your installer did not make it on the tag?

Ahh, that was it. I committed to 2.0.x and trunk after 2.0.1 was tagged.

Here is the EXE:

If desired, I can post directly to SourceForge and/or update the tag.

Thanks,

That would be great; we just completed a uDig training course with the new installer:

When you have uploaded it can you let me know the link (so I can pass it on to udig-devel).
We should update the tag so it reflects what is available on SF.

Sorry about that, I went merrily along my way thinking it was in the tag. Looking at the branch, it seems that the split between win and win-nt installers is no more, we've just got one uber-installer? I'm uploading your exe now (nice little round-the-world trip for it), and will get the tag updated. Thanks for noticing this.

Mark,

This file will work for 64-bit environments (Win2003 and win2008 server)?

Yes. Or at least it should (haven't tested on Server).

One caveat: if installing as a service, you must point it at a 32bit JRE.

Please let us know how it works.
