[Geoserver-devel] Newbie: Can't compile geoserver svn

Hi all,
I can't compile geoserver from the svn.
When I launch "mvn compile" it aborts because it can't download
gt2-demo-property-2.3-SNAPSHOT.
Where can I find it ?

Hi Nicola,

What branch are you working from. It sounds like you are working against
wcs since this is a geotools trunk dependency. I don't believe anyone is
deploying the geotools trunk snapshots regularly at the moment.

So one option is to check out the geotools trunk and build it locally. I
will try to get around to deploying a trunk snapshot today.

Hi Nicola:

Justin is right--if you want to compile the WCS-1.4.x branch of
Geoserver you need to check out and compile gt-trunk first.

FYI,

I just deployed a trunk snapshot so you should be able to build now
without a local checkout. It might be nice to set something up where we
can deploy geotools regularly so that people dont have to constantly
build it.
