I wanted to go ahead with the release today but other stuff came in and
could to proceed.

Just a question that I should already know but am uncertain:
Is the floor open on 2.1.x to add new stuff? like in for
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4538.

I suppose after 2.1.0 2.1.1 will come and some new stable/non breaking
functionality is gonna be allowed, right?
