[Geoserver-devel] Nominate Florence Tan for GeoServer commit access

I nominate my fellow app-schema developer Florence Tan for GeoServer commit access.

Florence joined the AuScope/SISS/ASRDC team in March 2009, and has deployed more and more-complicated instances of GeoServer app-schema than I have, so I am naturally pleased to have contributing to app-schema development. You will have seen her contribution on the lists, and I am sure you will now appreciate her contribution in code.

Kind regards,

I'm confident of the latter, not sure about the former? Looked around,
seen just a couple of mails on the gs-users list and a recent GeoServer
jira, though interestingly she opened a GeoTools jira back in 2009:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2489
(which is not assigned to anyone, so nobody ever received mails about
  her comments on it)

Cheers

I think Florence discussed this one off list with Jody. We have workarounds (lots of isNull) so it is not a blocker. This should also be superseded by better null handling in other code (currently in development).

Thanks Andrea for your vote. Yes, admit that I am not very active for the past year in the list since I rely a lot on two (Ben & Rini) very helpful and supportive GeoServer developer in the team. Will try to be more proactive in the community this coming year.

BTW, just found out recently that I am not able to assign GeoTools jira task to anyone. When creating new task, I can only select "component", thought by default it will assign the task to component lead but it doesn't and I am not able to edit task submitted by myself as well.
