[Geoserver-devel] OGC API Processes - wrapper or binding for WPS?

Hi List,

I know that OGC API Processes ist not yet implemented in GeoServer via the OGC API Extension.

But as WPS and Processes are very similar and guessing that the Processes implementation will happen at some point in the future and GeoServer already has lots of useful WPS Processes, what about having a wrapper or binding that translates the RESTful syntax of OGC API to the WPS syntax?

That way all the exisiting processes could be used without rewriting / adaptions.

Is this something that has been talked / thought about yet?

I would just go against the geotools process api directly. The resulting code should be easier to understand and maintain.
