Hi,
The OGC has open subscriptions for fundings around geoparquet related dev.
I wonder if it is interesting for GeoServer to have a specific geoparquet datastore or do we rely only on the ogr extension to support it?
In first case, do you plan to ask funds or not? If not, we (camptocamp) are going probably to step up.

we, as in GeoSolutions, were planning to request funding to create a plugin to contribute back to GeoServer.
I will discuss tomorrow with Andrea and bring this discussion offline, eventually.

Hi,
just a quick note for everyone, the call is explicit about avoiding viral licenses,
so the reader/writer work should be done in GeoTools (with possibly light integration
in GeoServer if we want to have it produce GeoParquet as a WFS output, for example).
