So from what I can tell GSIP 6 has been accepted. So if there are not any objections I would like to port GeoServer trunk to Geotools trunk today.
Sure Justin, go ahead. The two requisites we asked for, a procedure to handle changes, and nighly builds are there.
As long as the procedure is used, we're gold. I want to put a bit
of trust onto the Geotools PMC and believe the procedure will be used
for good.
Thanks Justin that would be cool (and helpful). Can I ask you to take notes please? It will be good advice for other geotools applications (I kept notes for the udig transition).
Cheers,
Jody

Can do. Don't you already have a page capturing this stuff somewhere?

The above link contains a link to the udig site where notes were kept; please do the same thing with a page on the geoserver dev site.
