Hi all,
I have converted all data directories to 2.0.x and trunk to the new
structure. For good measure i suggest everyone remove all local
modifications to their checked out directories (or maybe sure you back up
any local mods you want to keep) before updating.
Cheers,
-Justin

I simply blew away my data directory entirely before an SVN update; now when I use the release data some of the layers come up blank in the OpenLayers preview (so far, sf:bugsites and sf:roads). I'll see if I can figure out what is missing.

Confirmed. I am actually seeing a bunch of problems. MOst layers don't
render in the preview and others actually err out. Although i don't think
its the conversion. I am running into the same problems by starting from a
1.7.x release directory as well.

Found the issue and it's with Shapefile. I *think* (Andrea might correct me
here) that an optimization to prevent reading the dbf is causing the error.
What's more this error is actually eaten and not reported because the
wrapping feature iterator does not report it at all. Kind of nasty.
