I have seen random svn failures from hudson before that i could not explain, and restarting the application fixes the problem. Have we tried a restart?

I don't know what happened, but Hudson is back in business.
Soo... either it was a temporary fluke or Arne fixed it somehow
(probably the first?)

Looks like an old bug in Hudson, https://hudson.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1330 , and incidentally we're still running that version.

The bug has not been fixed according to their bugtracker, but I guess I will try to upgrade anyway, when I have some dead time.

ps. I am happy to see that Hudson releases are still forthcoming
