Hi,
since the work on the "create new feature type" via GUI or REST API
ballooned to a 80kb patch involving the catalog, the GUI and the
RESTConfig API I though it was a good idea to make a GSIP
for it.
All of the contents of the proposal as well as details have been
discussed already on the mailing list so I don't expect surprises,
but still, if you feel there is something wrong with it, speak up

I agree nice to see a proposal come out of the discussion; indeed it has been so well discussed there is a video (use VLC to play if not on linux).
