Three problems:

  • Build plugin build-helper-maven-plugin is broken:

  • Uploading war twice → as JAR and WAR

  • JAR is empty (wanted for downstream web-apps)

  • WAR is deployed (we did not want to take up the space)

Downgrading ArcSDE to community module

GEOS-9462, Gabriel volunteered

Needs to be done in GeoTools as well.

More GitHub actions/builds

AppVeyor build to be removed if the GitHub one works better.

OSX/Windows builds available on GeoServer as well.

Code freeze …. one month away.

Jody/Andrea discussing DefaultFeatureCollection requiring:

  • SimpleFeatureCollection requires getSchema() to document all contents

  • Javadoc: Access to “simple” Feature content where each feature has the same SimpleFeatureType.

  • A new base class is needed for mixed content

  • GenericFeatureCollection - copy the code to implement FeatureCollection

  • Allows mixed content

  • Only attribute name based access

  • DefaultFeatureCollection extends this to implement SimpleFeatureCollection

  • Adding column index access

  • Action: Jody will tighten up the javadocs “SimpleFeatureCollection house rules”

Maven Repo Clean up

After the meeting Andrea was able to clean up the geotools repo, I manually cleaned up repo.boundlessgeo.com this evening.
