Hi all,
I wrote more documentation about imagemosaic plugin, two tutorials about
the time and elevation attributes management.
Awesome, those are surely needed.
I would enclose also the dataset used in the tutorials, 2 zipped files of
size ~1 MB each.
Hmmm... is that the smallest possible they can get? That said we do have
one existing file in there that is over a MB.
576K ./gettingstarted/postgis-quickstart/nyc_buildings.zip
108K ./gettingstarted/shapefile-quickstart/nyc_roads.zip
1.7M ./gettingstarted/shapefile-quickstart/roads.zip
524K ./googleearth/tutorials/time/inet_weu.zip
60K ./security/tutorials/cert/sample_certs.zip
8.0K ./styling/sld-cookbook/artifacts/sld_cookbook_line.zip
4.0K ./styling/sld-cookbook/artifacts/sld_cookbook_point.zip
4.0K ./styling/sld-cookbook/artifacts/sld_cookbook_polygon.zip
112K ./styling/sld-cookbook/artifacts/sld_cookbook_raster.zip
36K ./tutorials/feature-pregeneralized/streams.zip
But most are under 100K.
Anyways, if that is getting too small i don't think it is a problem to link
to external resources, i believe some of the tutorials do that.
It is possible store them in the git repo? Otherwise I could load them on
a my company server and link them in the tutorials pages.
Wait for a reply before making the pull request.
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Damiano.
