We still don't have docs for adding rasters, but it's pretty self
explanatory. Download the GeoServer-WCS release from:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=25086&package_id=154341
Go to the webadmin tool, and you'll see additional options for coverage
stuff, that parallels datastore/featureType split. I think it's called
Format and Coverage? Something like that. Then you just request the
layer as WMS. Use a small image though, it's slow on anything big.
As for esri supporting WFS, the email I posted on the wiki says they
support it if you pay for the 'interoperability extension', but not by
default. Maybe send them an email asking for it - the more users who
demand it the sooner it will get in.
best regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
I deployed a geoserver yesterday and hooked arc catalog 9 to it with
no
problems. I guess that they (esri) don't support connecting to a WFS
yet, but I image they will in time. So is there some documentation
on
loading a raster layer at this point? Take care. John
