Recently I looked at the new released GeoServers, but could not find
the new
mapping feature you mentioned in your previous email. Is this feature
avaiable
for downloading now?
No, it's not yet available for download. There was a plan to put a
downloadable version out, but it didn't quite make it. The docs that
we do have are here: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/Complex+Datastore as well as
links to the subversion repository. It's a bit hard to get at right
now, but just ask the devel list and people should be able to assist
you on getting set up. Relatively soon we should hopefully have a
release out.
Besides, I also wonder if you could recommend some good Geoclient
applications?
We can talk about complex datastores in todays IRC meeting. You can ask questions and we can answer.
Chris is right that it is not released yet. It is in a branch and we will be merging it onto trunk. It has been a hot topic of discussion as of late and hopefully we can see something out of it soon. It should be really cool.

Also note uDig won't support complex Features until the work is merged onto GeoServer trunk (uDig and GeoServer work with a common library called GeoTools).
As Justin indicated we are all excited about this functionality,
