Hi guys,
I am sorry if in the last three weeks I have been quite absent (you
might have not noticed though! ) but I have been pretty sick,
unfortunately (for me!).
There are some ggod news about WCS and Coverages in general. Since
next month I have a guy who will be working on this topics for this
master thesis therefore we should start having a bit more
documentation pages and a more defined road map for the WCS wince we
basically would like to reach a decent stage (2d+ time) for february
having at the same time a decent GridCoverageRenderer for the WMS and
(might be too much maybe) a WCSClient libe to integrate into UDIG (for
april hopefully). At the same time Alessio wrote almost all the
ISO19123 interfaces and both of us started looking at how to implement
them.
Ok this was just to explain were we are.
Now, about Adit's question, as Jody said the WCS that is on the branch
is an early protype which does not many things but at least was quite
stable. We are working on the next release 0.3 but we are not yet
confindent releasing it since there were some problem with the Axes
for the CRS lately. Maybe Adit could send a detailed email about is
plans and we could start cooperating on achieving them in order to
have a prototype for NetCDF working as soon as concurrent deadlines
permit.
I hope what I wrote makes sense, it's pretty late here!
Simone.

Hi Adit:The best I can do is point you towards Simone (hi Simone!), and a WCS
branch they made of geoserver: branches/*wcs*-branchSimone is there any documentation available on this project?
Normal geoserver documentation can be found:
-<http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC>But it does not even look like they have made an RnD page for WCS yet.
