Hi,

I will answer my own question. With the geoserver binary distribution, the arcsde connection

Came with sde 8.3 jar file, and it does not work with SDE 9.0 server. All I have to do

Is to replace the sde 8.3 jar file with sde 9.0 jar file, and everything works.
