This is what I have tested on the Release of geoserver 1.4.x
- WAR in Jboss (Justin in Tomcat)
- Installer
- Demo Request
- CITE (Justin)
I fixed the installer, the icons was broken and the stop was not functional.
Otherwise all good.

For bonus points! Does the release support the "Taz Demo" used by the uDig walkthroughs? After 6 months the 1.3.x series still does not have it right and I would love an alternative

So I think we are already to go here. Left to be done:
1. Write readme and release notes
2. Tag
3. build + upload to sourceforge
