I offered to release it next week after foss4gna if there are no other takers. Indeed I would like a chance to fix up the geoserver release script to automate the readme documentation links.

It was an update in the thread about holding a meeting earlier in the month:
A few updates on my end:
I have a geotools and GeoServer workshop scheduled and will be reviewing and updating these sections of the user guide
I would like to start a “State of GeoServer 2.15” presentation if anyone else is game (not sure if one has been started already)
The “ImageN” (pronounced “imagine” thanks to Andrea’s suggestion) restructure as an Apache 2.0 license has been approved and I will be setting up the codebase shortly
While I am not available on the 18th I would be happy to get the release out on the 22nd after foss4g-na
