Hi,
I've put together on this page the release schedule of GeoTools and
GeoServer (following
up what we voted in GSIP 77), including release dates and the feature
freeze date,
as well as a slot for people that are going to do perform the releases:
Two things to notice:
- the feature freeze in January 21th, after that date, no more
core/stability threatening
changes are allowed
- the RCs are tentatives, in that we don't know how many we'll have to make, all
we know it's that they are going to be one every 15 days
- there is a lot of empty slots, don't be shy, put your name in one of them
(btw, we could also have one person doing the GeoServer release and
another one
doing the GT2 one in parallel, it's not that we are really forced to
have a single person
doing both, only we need to wait for the interactive GS tests to be
carried out
to avoid having to redo the GeoTools release due to bugs being found)
I have put my name down for January and filled in some geotools
milestone releases bracketing the feature collection cleanup.
