[Geoserver-devel] Request to backport to 2.16..x [GEOS-9387] Options to configure min/max scale denominator for cascaded WMS Layer

Dear List,

I would like to ask backport permission for an improvement that allows to configure min/max scale denominator on cascaded wms layers. More details can be found at https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-9387

Some UI uplifts were followed to improve the new feature.

-1 those tickets and pull requests do not yet document the new option.

Please address this before 2.17-RC

Hold it to after the 2.16.2 release. Please make the backport PR as soon as 2.16.2 is done, but first address Jody’s documentation feedback.
