Well the first step in getting commit status is submitting a patch and
getting another developer to review it.
Given that you have implemented a new wfs operation i am sure you have
fulfilled this requirement. However it still might be nice if you could
post the code so it can get a review.
So how about this:
1. Create a jira task and attach the code to it:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS
2. One of us will review it and give the ok.
3. Follow the steps here:
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/1+Getting+Commit+Status
Note that the account is different from your confluence account,
although you can link the two.

I've added a new wiki page to the community modules describing the
GetNearest WFS Request Plug-in
<http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/WFS+GetNearest+Plug-in>\. I
would also be interested in submitting the code to the community SVN. Is
this possible? How do I go about doing this?
Thanks, David Robison
