Guys -

So there are enough bugs in WFS 2.0 to warrant a revision.
What this means is that CRs are not being submitted into a black hole.
It also means that it would be smart to gather up your thoughts about any other issues and propose fixes quick-smart.
There will be a cut-off date for issues to be dealt with in this revision, so let's make sure we get a standard that works.

Subject: [Tc] Three week review and call for Charter Members for proposed Web Feature Service/Filter Encoding Standards Working Group (SWG)

Dear Members -

Base on a number of submitted Change Requests, a new Web Feature Service
(WFS) SWG is being convened. The draft charter is now ready for review. The
draft may be found here:

https://portal.opengeospatial.org/files/?artifact_id=46032&version=1

From the charter:

The purpose of the OWS WFS/FES SWF is to address the CR's that have been
posted to the OGC change request page as well as those found in engineering
reports produced during the OWS8 test bed.

Any comments on the charter should be submitted to (Panagiotis (Peter) A.
Vretanos <pvretano@anonymised.com>)

In 3 weeks time, I will do a general call for participation. In the
meantime, if you would like to be a Charter Member of this new SWG, please
let us know. Charter Members have the ability to vote on items and issues
beginning at the first official meeting of the SWG.
