Hi all,
Most of the discussion in todays road map update revolved around relaxing the "bug fix only" restrictions on 1.7.x. The rationale being that there a number of funded features coming down the pipe from various places.
So the first action item:
* Allow new features on 1.7.x which are a) relatively minor and b) sponsored
The following are the new features in question, which are being thrown into the mix for 1.7.4:
* Customizable radius for GetFeatureInfo (Andrea)
* WFS generalization (Andrea + Christian)
* WMS decorations (David)
* improved imagemosaic (Simone)
* WMS BBOX reduction (Chris Hodgson)
Other things discussed included release dates. Currently 1.7.4 is scheduled for April 15. In the light of the new features it was thought that perhaps pushing back a few days to the 20th would be best.
For 2.x, 2.0-alpha2 was scheduled in the 1-2 week range. I am curious to hear how this works for you Ben. We should coordinate and see what works best in order to get out a milestone with regard to both complex features and the new wicket ui.
