I've been setting up an app-schema config on trunk and fixed a couple issues that prevented it from working and being configured through the UI due to the use of DataStore* instead of DataAccess.
Also, I wanted to repeat that the feature chaining stuff is just great. I managed to set up the MappedFeature config as well as the config for the schema I'm playing with. Also applied the patch at http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2474 locally and it solves the encoding of gml:name.
Yet, I ran desperate on a couple issues regarding gml encoding and hope may be you have some clues:
- simple attributes are not being encoded though they are present in the Feature instances
- I couldn't get one of the nested complex attribtues, which is multivalued, to be encoded more than once.
If you would be so kind to take a look at the config and see if there's something obvious for you that makes this happen I'll be glad of sending you the data config directory.
