Hi,
I've just committed the changes to have the the shapefile request
embedded in the zip
and the file names be driven by templates (I went the single property
file road).
The patch includes new tests to keep tabs on the templating mechanism
and documentation.
Now, I want to backport this change to 2.0.x, it's well tested, the
only minor issue there
might be is that I had to add a field to Dispatcher.RESPONSE to track
the request time.
Being a new field it should not create any trouble, but thought I'd
double check
before going on with the backport.
Cheers
Andrea

I don’t see why not. Most of the changes are to an output format and not in the core. And the changes to the core seem minimal enough to not be a risk.
