Hi list,
I have a very silly question (please, don’t kill me :P).
Why the 2.0.x geoserver branch does have versions in pom like 2.0.1-SNAPSHOT (before) and 2.0.2-SNAPSHOT (now) whilst any other geotools branches and geoserver branch have simply 2.6-SNAPSHOT (GT), 2.7-SNAPSHOT (GT) and 2.1-SNAPSHOT (GS)?
Yes, I know… Is not a critical question… just curiosity

Just a simple add since maybe I have formulated my query without pointing out the real question:
Why 3 dots separated digits (2.0.2-SNAPSHOT) in branch 2.0.x against 2 dots separated digits (2.0-SNAPSHOT) as for all other branches?
The 3 digits way requires that for each new release, you need to increase the last digit in each pom of the 2.0.x branch whilst the 2 digits way requires nothing to do.
