Hi all…

I’m currently using Geoserver RC2 build and I’m getting the exception show bellow in a random behavior.

Meaning that, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t … it’s weird…

I’m using the function “strConcat” in my SLD file as depicted:

<ogc:Function name=“strConcat”>

<ogc:Function name=“parseInt”>

ogc:PropertyNameWHATEVER_COL

</ogc:PropertyName>

</ogc:Function>

ogc:Literal%</ogc:Literal>

</ogc:Function>

Hmm… just tried it out on the states layers, it works fine. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not…
odd.
Sometimes how? Are you using it against different layers?

The strConcat function is declared to have only 2 arguments, when it fails to look it up
are you trying to make it concatenate three or more strings? That would indeed make it throw
the exception you’ve reported.

Ah, btw, this kind of questions are for the users list: http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/Mailing+Lists
Please use the devel list only if you are trying to contribute something to the GeoServer project,
be it code or documentation, or just participate to the discussions about features being implemented
and the like
