James and I have been talking quite a bit about the SLD spec (he's the
new SLD editor).
I'm quite sure the new SLD will have the changes I'm making to the xsd.

That's good. He might need an actual Change Request though, in order to put in changes. He cannot just unilaterally edit it in.

I am just worried when a server (any server) starts talking non standard SLD. If I am going to be uploading SLD documents during an SLD post I expect the server to respect the schema that me the user wrote my documentation against.
So please be a proper superset.
