Hi,
looking at the build scroll by this morning I was wondering
how many repos do really need to have snapshots active:
[INFO] snapshot org.geotools:gt-metadata:2.6-SNAPSHOT: checking for updates from opengeo
[INFO] snapshot org.geotools:gt-metadata:2.6-SNAPSHOT: checking for updates from osgeo
[INFO] snapshot org.geotools:gt-metadata:2.6-SNAPSHOT: checking for updates from maven2-repository.dev.java.net
dev.java.net? What snapshots does it provide?
Also, I guess we could have either opengeo or osgeo to be snapshot
providers. Do we really need both?
Cheers

I would say now. Ideally I think we should use only a single repo for a snapshot repository. Osgeo makes little since to me since afaik no snapshots are ever posted there.
java.net not sure what we get from there. But if we do depend on a snapshot I say we copy it to the opengeo repo... if indeed we are allowed to redistribute them ourselves.
Cheers

That is my understanding as well.

I thought that was where imageio-ext released to (it being a java.net project).
