We have a short list of projects/students that have been accepted. We need to make this public and ensure two mentors are available (yes I know the development list will be used), and check that each student has been contacted.

Caching data in uDig - Christophe Rousson
- Mentor 1: Ian Turton
- Mentor 2: Jesse Eichar
Not all of these students will be in the GeoTools code base; but they will be making use of our library and asking questions.
Landon recently asked all students to sign up to the osgeo SoC list, and mentioned that mentors will of sent an acceptence letter out by now. If you have not already done so - there is something quick to start you out with on the GeoTools SoC page.

Martin do you want to change that page (remove the ?) and you may want to drop an email in the direction of the student to say hi. We do not expect anything major to happen until May 28th - but some students may start early.
