[Geoserver-devel] starting transition to github

Hey folks,

As of now the svn repository is off limits. I am starting the transition to github which is really just setting up the new accounts to be part of the geotools organization. Shouldn’t be too long. More to come soon.

OK, folks, should be good to go. I have set up the organization for the geotools project project and all those who sent me there github id (and those i knew of before hand) have been added to the organization and should have commit rights. Just remember though you have to use a non-read url for the repository. If you cloned it with a read-only one you can simply change the local remote url.

For those who are despots on codehaus I have also made you owners of the organizations so you should have full access to the account.

Now when you log into github you should be able to do a “context switch” between your personal account and your organization account.

Eager for someone else to try out a commit!

The mail was sent to geoserver-devel, but I believe you meant to send it to geotools-devel… or GeoServer got switched to github too?

Cheers
