Thanks, Adrian.
Do I need both a TOPP agreement for GeoServer and an OSGeo for GeoTools?
I did not know that svn is a separate account. Should I email
admin@anonymised.com dotnet, or wait until my paperwork is processed?
I will be indeed working closely with Rob A, mainly on getting community
schemas up and going on the GeoServer 1.6 / GeoTools 2.4 branches. I
will be working in community/unsupported, and I do not anticipate
touching the core at this time.
Kind regards,

Hi Ben,
Justin is correct about procedure but you may be using Rob A. to vet
your work and he may be asking you to commit directly to svn on his
say-so. I believe he nominated you which should satisfy Justin.
You do know that svn and wiki are different accounts, right? The former
goes through admin@anonymised.com dotnet.
Ideally you would be willing to grab the OSGeo copyright assignment
agreement off the wiki and sign your copyright over to OSGeo (for all
the good reasons explained on the page). Oh, and make Rob sign it too,
all to show you are more hip than he these days. All that info is in the
developer guide which you should read to get a sense of what's in there
for when you need it.
For the xicles stuff, the process is ever changing and complex so Jody
seems to be the one who really understands it. I did notice codehaus go
down for a server upgrade this weekend and it's been rock solid for me
since then---let's hope that lasts.

Hi Ben,
Usually how it works to get commit access you need to submit a number
of
patches first. Once your work has gained the trust of one of the
current
committers they can nominate you.
Until then, you should be able to check out the code from svn,
generate
diffs for patches, without having authentication to commit.
Our setup on Xircles is a bit odd at the moment. Currently its an all
or
nothing setup, where if you join the project you are given full blown
commit access. I have been meaning to set this up so that you can join
the project as just a user, but have yet to get around to it.
