[Geoserver-devel] text label not bending with the line

Hi all,

I have another question. How do I get the label text to bend along with the curved line. For me whenever the line bends, the label text just sticks tangentially and looks ugly.

I could not find anything in SLD which could control this behavior. Does anybody know a way around?

We don't have any support for labels along a line, sorry :frowning:
There is an open jira issue for this, but nobody so far has had the
time to work on it:

If you have java development skills and want to try adding that
functionality, we can introduce you to the source code.
Otherwise, if you really need this soon, you can sponsor one developer
to do it now.
