[Geoserver-devel] Time for a GeoServer 2.1.4?

Hi,
it's been a bit more than a couple of months since last bugfix release
on the stable series.
In the meantime we have cumulated 25 closed tickets between minor improvements
and fixes:

Ciao Andrea,
I would switch ImageIO-Ext to 1.1.3 from 1.1.2 since we have a few
enhancements for gdal. We are making the artifacts available these
days.

+1 on a release. Not sure how much help i can be since i am going to be focusing mainly on the outstanding proposals and getting them onto trunk in order to start pushing 2.2 toward a first release. But i can help out with some sanity testing and building the osx installer.

Hello,

I have got a few questions about the upcoming GeoServer version 2.1.4:

  • How is the state of releasing the new version?

  • Will the new version support GDAL 1.7.3? (I have read you will switch to ImageIO-Ext 1.1.3)

  • Is the release of GeoServer 2.1.4 depended on the release of the next GeoTools release (2.7.5?)

Stuck on my lack of spare time to carry it on. No idea when it will happen, when I proposed

I believe imageio-ext already switched to 1.8, but I may be wrong.

Yes, as always the two releases are synchronized and carried on in parallel
