The GeoServer 2.16 Release Candidate is being targeted for late next week.
If there is any functionality that you are trying to get into 2.16.0, please try and have it merged into master by the beginning of next week.
There are still a considerable number of open pull requests, so anyone who can review them is also appreciated.
