[Geoserver-devel] Version in 2.0.2?

Since I get notifications on any changes on geoserver.org, I jumped the gun and downloaded the Windows installer of 2.0.2. Bang up job, VT!

Just to be aware, GeoServer states on the main page that it is running version "2.0-SNAPSHOT", instead of 2.0.2. Has anyone else seen this? I'm not sure how hard this is to change/redeploy, but we may want to.

Thanks,

Err... I think one of the release steps instructs to do a search
and replace for the old version into the new, but I think
it provides guidance only for a OSX/Linux command line (using find and sed). I did not check, just going by memory

I saw that last night as well and that was the first thing on my list to do this morning. The reason for that is because in the doc it says sed -i 's/1.7.1/1.7.2/g' but because in the files they are actually 2.0-SNAPSHOT. It doesn't replace all of it. I will sort this out
