Am I right in thinking that GeoTools 2.1 is still being used?
I need to make fix to the DB2 plug-in.
You can probably be safe with doing it against 2.2.x Dave has upgraded 1.3.x to 2.2.x on an experimental branch, which I believe should make it in for GeoServer 1.3.1. See https://svn.codehaus.org/geoserver/branches/1_3_0a_geotools_2_2_x/
